Hawking, of Indian soapstone and mokumé gané, is a message of Fare Well for the decease of a Loved One. The Garuda Bird carries his essence, his Spirit, safely through the black hole, on his way to the Spirit world. A sculpture combined with mokumé gané, a Japanese smithing technique wich involves many layers of alternating silver and copper.
